Polaris: A Celebration on World Student Day

On the occasion of World Student Day, a heartwarming event was held at the Lady of Peace Church in the Bustan Al-Diwan neighborhood. The collaborative effort of "Syria Spirit" team and Study Zone team brought an event named "Polaris: The Always Shining Northern Star," which included two parts.Part 1: The event commenced with an entertainment program tailored for students, containing icebreaker games and team competitions that fostered a sense of healthy competition among the attendees. A musical touch was added to the atmosphere through a performance organized by the "Syria Spirit" team. Additionally, a short documentary film was screened, emphasizing the idea that every student has the potential to be a bright star in their own lives. Souvenirs were presented to participants, who shared their feelings about the day by writing them on four boards displayed in the Study Zone centers. The atmosphere throughout the day was positive, with students exhibiting high energy and wholehearted interaction with the games and music.Part 2: The second part of the event involved a collaboration between the Study Zone team, students from various centers, and the "Syria Spirit" team. Together, they extended their light through a visit to the "Dream Center" Specialized Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities on November 19, 2023. Stationery supplies were distributed to the children at the center, reinforcing the true essence of the event's name and meaning.
