In a collaboration between Study Zone Al-Nouzha and Homs Development, Impact, and Support Center (HDISC), an exciting introductory workshop took place on September 12th, 2023. This workshop was designed to provide baccalaureate students with insights into diverse university specializations.The primary aim of the workshop was to establish a connection between graduates and baccalaureate students. By doing so, it aimed to enable baccalaureate students to explore the academic fields and discover their own passions. The event was also a stepping stone for future collaborative projects between Study Zone and HDISC to continue fostering opportunities for students. The workshop witnessed active participation from 26 graduated students who represented a wide range of specializations, including:Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Civil Engineering, I.T. Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (with specializations in electrical energy engineering, mechatronics engineering, automated and computer engineering, and communication engineering), Petrochemical Engineering (including petrol engineering, textile engineering, and nutrition and food engineering), Arts and Humanities (with specializations in Arabic, English, and French literatures), Law, Tourism, Music, Agricultural Engineering, Economics (with a specialization in business administration), Faculty of Education, Psychological Consulting, Health Science (with specializations in nutrition and physical therapy), and Architectural Engineering.Additionally, 24 baccalaureate students from various Study Zone centers in Homs, including Al-Nouzha, Al-Mahatta, and Al-Arman, actively participated in the workshop.This collaborative effort aspires to empower students to explore their passions, discover new horizons, and make informed academic decisions.
