The idea of Study zone was to create a space where students can study at their own pace and at any time in an inspirational environment. The three-zones available in the study zone; the social zone, the quiet and the silent zone all share the same qualities of providing the basic needs like electricity, internet access, heating etc. the only thing that differs is the level of allowed social interaction between the students to ensure an inspiring and productive studying experience suitable for every single student.
"I am Abdul-Rahman Maarastawi from Aleppo city. Currently, I am a fourth-year dentistry student at Al-Hwash University. I reside in a rented apartment and rely on Study Zone for my studying. For the past three years, I have been regularly attending Study Zone due to the absence of electricity and water services in the village of Al-Mouzeina. Study Zone ensures that these basic necessities are provided, catering to all our requirements. Among the different areas within Study Zone, I prefer studying in the social zone as it allows me to study alongside my friends, who provide me with assistance in overcoming many challenges. The presence of a garden is a unique feature of Study Zone, enabling me to study amidst a natural environment. Additionally, during break times, engaging in games helps break the routine. Given my specialization is in dentistry, I would like to propose allocating a room specifically for dentistry students. Lastly, I cannot overlook the great staff at Study Zone."
"My name is Cinderella Shamoun, and I'm originally from Al-Hasakah city. Currently, I am a fourth-year student studying IT Engineering at Al-Hwash University. I have been coming to Study Zone since my second year. The Study Zone is conveniently located near my house, It offers a spacious environment divided into three sections, providing comfort to students. Each student can choose their preferred zone for studying. It ensures a quiet atmosphere with available electricity and, most importantly, reliable internet access, which is crucial for me as an IT student. Additionally, Study Zone is well-equipped with the needed stationery and tools that fulfills all our requirements, eliminating the need for external sources. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff for their efforts."
"I'm Nawar Salloum, and I am currently a third-year nutrition engineering student at Al-Baath University. I have been attending Study Zone Al-Arman for three years now. Whenever the new semester begins or during the practical and theoretical exams, you always find me here. What makes this center special for me is its calm, disciplined, and study-motivating atmosphere. The lighting is perfect, and there is always reliable electricity available. The self-service option provided here is convenient and comfortable for us as students. Study Zone has had a remarkable impact on my university performance. Since I started attending, my average grades have improved by 8 points. Personally, I prefer a quiet studying environment that allows me to concentrate effectively. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for Study Zone."
"I am Ammar Muhammad, a third-year architectural engineering student at Al-Baath University. My discovery of the Architectural Zone came through the recommendation of my peers, as we, architectural engineering students, often faced the challenge of electricity shortage. This center, however, stands out by offering continuous and reliable electricity. Upon stepping into this center, I found that it caters to all our needs; it provides essential requirements such as printing services, engineering tools, well-equipped drawing tables, and the guidance of a supervisor. This ensures that we have everything at our disposal to successfully complete our projects. While other centers have attempted to replicate this concept, none have been able to match the same level of quality and atmosphere. I express my gratitude to all those involved in creating this project. I also wish to propose extending the center's operating hours to accommodate students until later hours of the day."
