Marwan, a well-known floor tiler from Homs City, is married and the father of three children; two sons and a daughter.
When the devastating war began, he moved with his family to Fairouza village; because they were residing in the Bab Al-Sebaa neighborhood, their home was destroyed and Marwan lost his equipment.
With the resources at hand, he was able to purchase some basic tools and resume work. He also taught his younger son Elian his profession, and the two of them started working together while his elder son Milad works as a tailor, and the three work hard to support the family.
The skilled craftsman needed to improve his work and have all necessary tools, particularly the electric generator, which would boost his productivity and increase his income.
