George is married with two children. His primary profession is manufacturing and producing women's shoes, a trade he has been involved in since 1973; Initially, his workshop was located in Al-Hullok, but when the war began, he lost his all his machinery, tools and molds. His car was also burnt, leaving him with nothing to rely on, and the area became deserted.
Despite these hardships, George did not succumb to despair or surrender to the harsh conditions he faced. He always looked forward for the sake of his family, determined to stand on his feet and provide for them. He decided to start over, and his wife supported him in this endeavor. Together, they began their project anew. George had a closed shop in Al-Midan, which he decided to reopen. With a small amount of money, he purchased some basic machinery and tools. Gradually, his workshop grew, and his name regained its reputation, allowing him to distribute his products to all Syrian provinces.
As his workshop expanded, George needed new machines because modern equipment saves electricity. He decided to visit our center and requested assistance. After we met his needs, his income doubled, and he also saved on generator expenses because we equipped his shop with alternative energy.
George begins his project with joy and happiness after all the challenges he faced during the years of war.
