Fr. Antoine Ghazi- Deputy Bishop of Chaldean Diocese: “I want to thank polish people and Caritas Poland for embracing us during these days that are in many ways more challenging and exhausting than the armed conflict itself”.
Starting from 2017, the Chaldean diocese joined the Family to Family program, since then they carry on with the distributions with much love and care.
Fr. Antoine: “a large percentage of our remained parish members are from the elderly, and this program is extremely helpful for them” he adds that this compassion and kindness offered by the Polish families is actually as important as the financial value; “many Syrian families are grateful for this caring gesture and are praying for the polish families that thought about them and reached out to help”.
