Study Zone Nezha: A place for all!

Tayseer: The oldest student in study zone is the living proof that age cannot be an invincible obstacle of any kind neither can it stand in the face of determination. The 61 years old, kept the dream of continuing his academic endeavors for years and years but it was finally ignited last year when this father took his first steps towards realizing his dream by taking a placement test to know what it takes to be qualified to take the baccalaureate exam.

The hardworking Tayseer knew that going back to school would not be that easy especially that his education was interrupted since he was in ninth grade. Tayseer enrolled in several courses to master English and French to get ahead.

Besides his quest for a college degree, Tayseer is a father of four, two boys and two girls. One of his daughters is a nurse and the other majored in law. While one of his sons works in Iraq and the other is serving in the military.

To support them all Tayseer makes a living off of selling lottery tickets in Al-Hadara Street. He works all day long and after finishing his night shift he drops at the study zone to study and prepare for the exam.

“Uncle Tayseer”, as his collegues at the Study zone call him, aspires to Study English literature at the university, a thing that became an inspiration for many younger students that are looking up to Taseer as a role model and an example for perseverance.

Uncle Tayseer’s presence gives hope to the rest of the students to continue no matter how difficult the circumstances are.
